High Wind Warning in Los Angeles!

 ...DAMAGING WINDS LIKELY ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS OF VENTURA AND LOS ANGELES COUNTIES TODAY... ...HARD FREEZE POSSIBLE ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE CENTRAL COAST...SANTA YNEZ VALLEY...AND OJAI VALLEY... .ANOTHER SURGE OF OFFSHORE WINDS HAS ARRIVED ACROSS SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA THIS MORNING. STRONG OFFSHORE WINDS WILL OCCUR ACROSS THE MOUNTAIN PASSES OF LOS ANGELES AND VENTURA COUNTIES...WITH DAMAGING WIND GUSTS OVER 60 MPH LIKELY TODAY. COASTAL AND VALLEY AREAS EXPOSED TO NORTHEAST WINDS WILL GENERALLY SEE WIND GUSTS IN THE 40 TO 50 MPH RANGE. WINDS WILL DECREASE LATER THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING...ESPECIALLY ALONG THE COAST...BUT ARE EXPECTED TO INCREASE AGAIN LATE TONIGHT AND TUESDAY MORNING. WIND SPEEDS ON TUESDAY ARE EXPECTED TO BE A BIT WEAKER THAN TODAY. A DRY AND COLD AIR MASS WILL ALLOW TEMPERATURES TO DROP TO NEAR OR BELOW FREEZING ACROSS MANY WIND PROTECTED LOCATIONS OF SOUTHWEST CALIFORNIA TONIGHT. HARD FREEZES ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE INTERIOR OF THE CENTRAL COAST...THE SANTA YNEZ VALLEY AND THE OJAI VALLEY. NO FREEZE PRODUCTS HAVE BEEN ISSUED FOR THE ANTELOPE VALLEY...THE INTERIOR VALLEYS OF SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY AND THE CUYAMA VALLEY...SINCE THESE AREAS HAVE ALREADY HAD TWO PRIOR FREEZE EVENTS...BUT HARD FREEZE CONDITIONS ARE FORECAST TO OCCUR. ...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM PST TUESDAY... * WINDS AND TIMING...NORTHEAST WINDS 25 TO 40 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 60 MPH WILL CONTINUE...STRONGEST THROUGH PASSES AND CANYONS.
