Elizabeth Taylor's Jewels Up for Auction!

Elizabeth Taylor has an immaculate collection of beautiful jewelry, which was fueled by the great loves of her life; seven of them, actually. Her collection included a 33.19-carat diamond ring.

"I never, never thought of my jewelry as trophies," she wrote in her book. "I'm here to take care of them and to love them. When I die and they go off to auction I hope whoever buys them gives them a really good home."

Amanda Knox...Free at last!

After four years in prison, the Italian appeals court threw out Amanda Knox's conviction of sexual assault and the fatal stabbing of her British room mate.  Raffaelle Sollecito, her boyfriend at the time, was also released from his 25 year sentence. DNA evidence had previously suggested that Knox and Sollecito were at the scene of the crime, but after further investigation, it was deemed that the DNA samples were contaminated and that the 47-day DNA retrieval process was the cause of this contamination.

We wish her and her family all the very best.

Problems with forensic evidence in Amanda Knox case

• Knife: the actual knife used to kill Meredith Kercher was never found.
• Other knife: DNA on knife found at Raffaelle Sollecito's house had such a slight presence it could not be ruled an exact match to Kercher.
• Kercher's blood-stained bra clasp: Experts said the clasp had been laying on a floor for so long that it was useless as evidence.
• Bedroom: No DNA from Knox was found in the bedroom where Kercher was fatally stabbed.
• Witnesses: No reliable witness could say Knox and Sollecito were in the house when the murder occurred.
• Confession: Knox's lawyers argued that her purported confession to being in the house during the killing was not true, claiming she had made the admission under no sleep and extreme duress and stress.

We are absolutely shocked that the 56 year old CEO of Apple has passed.

Many of our friends have been scratching their heads about this...Here is some scoop from Wikepedia...Not the most reliable source, but hey, at least it's straight to the point.

Occupy Wall Street is an ongoing series of demonstrations in New York City.^[6] The protest was originally called for by the Canadian activist^[7]group Adbusters; it took inspiration from the Arab Spring movement (particularly the Tahrir Square protests in Cairo, which initiated the 2011 Egyptian Revolution) and from the Spanish Indignants.^[8][9]

The participants of the event are mainly protesting against social and economic inequality, corporate greed, and the influence of corporate money and lobbyists on government, among other concerns.^[10] Adbusters states that, "Beginning from one simple demand – a presidential commission to separate money from politics – we start setting the agenda for a new America."^[11] The protest's organizers hope that the protestors themselves will formulate their own specific demands, expecting them to be focused on "taking to task the people who perpetrated the economic meltdown."^[12]

Brazilian Blow - Wishes do come true...

We've all heard about it, we've all seen the photos and youtube videos about this miracle treatment - well, it finally came time to try it! 

The Brazilian Blowout is known to last up to 4 months with proper care and maintenance. The process takes about 2.5 hours and includes washing your hair, applying the treatment and then straightening your hair with the treatment. New Bravo Reality Show: Shahs of Sunset

The Iranian community in Los Angeles is huge! Being raised as a Persian Armenian, we've been very close to the Iranian community and have a ton of Iranian friends. We are so interested in learning more about the new show that is being produced for Bravo called "Shahs of Sunset". On Air with Ryan Seacrest had Andy Cohen on the radio who mentioned that the show is in production. Ryan Seacrest has partnered with Bravo on the series. It follows a group of young Persian-American friends. Andy Cohen mentions that the group is a really fun and funny people. Ryan commented, "They're Hysterical...Some are hot, some not!!!" We can't wait to learn more, and cant wait to know who the cast members are. Will we know them?

Looking as beautiful as ever, the royal couple, William and Kate attend the inaugural black-tie "BAFTA Brits to Watch" event at downtown L.A.’s Belasco Theater. The royal support was to “spotlight the depth and range of young British talent” with 42 youthful creatives chosen to attend. (Left unsaid was that the whole tour is really about the royal brand, The Family.)
